Research Activities

 The Faculty members of the department are actively involved in research related activities. The department is equipped with high end research equipments like Mircolab Box for real time simulations, Smart Grid Emulators for Renewable Energy Integration, synchronization studies, IoT enabled operations, relays coordination studies, GPU based High capacity computing machine for autonomous vehicles, Virtual Instrumentation facilities, Advanced Drives setup , industrial grade softwares etc, With these well established research facilities department faculty members along with students do research in the frontier areas and has numerous publications and patents to their credit. Many of our faculty members are Anna University recognized research supervisors and remaining faculty members are currently pursuing their PhD.
